David Quinn spoke before tonight’s game against the Flyers and said (NYR):

• Same lineup but Buchnevich and Zuccarello are getting flipped on their lines.
• He is making that move because he thinks there might be more chemistry
• The last game against the Flyers was the “stinker of all stinkers” from our end of it
• On last night, “we did do good things but we lost the hockey game. Their goals came way too easy.”
• On Zucc and Buch since returning, “their effort has certainly been there for sure. Offensive output will improve as they come back from those long layoffs but they’ve played 4-5 games so I think we are getting to that point where their productivity offensively will start to show.”
• On Kevin Hayes, “Kevin is producing big time offensively and doing a lot of great things. High end skill, makes things happen. We need him to continue to produce at the level he is producing.”
• On the young players, “I like that they weren’t in awe of the situation. They embraced it which is a great sign. You wan’t people to handle the bright lights and I thought they did that.”
