The Sabres have fired head coach Ralph Krueger and hired Don Granato to be their interim head coach.
The Rangers host the Sabres next Tuesday and then play Buffalo four times in April.
As part of the changes, Dan Girardi will become an assistant coach with the Sabres. (Harrington)
