1:42 PM: Frank Seravalli tweets that the Rangers have made “significant progress” with newly acquired Barclay Goodrow on a reported six-year deal that will have a cap hit of around $3.6 million.
Goodrow, 28, is slated to become a UFA on July 28th and the Rangers acquired him on Saturday for a 2022 7th-round pick.
Seravalli tweets that the expectation is that Goodrow will sign when the roster freeze ends on Thursday.
