3PM: Igor Shesterkin joined the Rangers morning skate part of the way through. (Brooks)

Earlier today, Gerard Gallant spoke and said (NYR):

  • Were you encouraged Shesterkin was on the ice, “yea, definitely. It was part of the whole process from day to right now, that was the process. It’s always good to see him out there for sure.”

Forbes says that the Rangers are the most valuable NHL team at $2 Billion

Forbes has released their annual NHL franchise values and they listed the Rangers first and with a value of $2 billion.

Forbes had the Rangers valued at $1.7 billion last season.

Sportico had the Leafs first with a value of $2 billion and the Rangers second with a value of $1.87 billion.

Sportico valued the Knicks as the top NBA team at $5.42 billion.

MSGS stock, at the moment, is $171.16 per share.

What Gerard Gallant said after the loss to Colorado

Gerard Gallant spoke after the loss to Colorado and said (MSG, NYR):

  • On Huska, “He was great in the first, I think they had 17 shots and he made some key saves, but we lost that as a team, definitely.”
  • Where did things go wrong, “just gave them too many scoring chances, too many opportunities. That third and fourth goal, we opened the door for them, we didn’t play good, strong defense like we had to and we talked about and we turned some pucks over again and they took advantage of it. They are a talented team and if you are going to give them second and third chances and odd-man rushes they are going to take advantage.”
