Tony DeAngelo back in against the Sens

3:05PM: David Quinn spoke earlier today and said (NYR):

  • On Chytil, “confidence for sure, anytime you score goals it rises and he is playing with a lot more confidence. He is harder on pucks, quicker on pucks, forcing more turnovers. When you have kind of skill to force turnovers that is where you can create offense.”
  • On Shattenkirk, “he’s defending well right now, his 1 on 1s down low, he is much more physical and aware of body position and stick position and he is closing on people quicker. There is a whole new level of confidence in his game defensively. Offensively I think he needs to be a little quicker, a little hesitant. When he just plays and doesn’t overthink things he is more productive offensively. I think he’s almost back to 100% from a mental standpoint of where he should be. He is very close to being that offensive player.”
