David Quinn said this morning that the Rangers will go with seven defensemen and 11 forwards tonight and that Pavel Buchnevich will be scratched.(Stephenson)

Both Brendan Smith and Neal Pionk are in the lineup and Alex Georgiev is in net.
Buchnevich has 4 goals and 2 assists since returning from injury with three of his goals coming on the PP.
He’s averaged 13:34 in that time and put 20 shots on goal.
Thrice in that span he has played fewer than 10 minutes and in the past 10 games he is averaging 11:49 per game.
He is averaging 10:14 per game in the past seven.
In late December, Buchnevich said that he is trying to “find the right place where to get the puck.” (NY Post)
