- Like a bunch of other games this season, the Rangers had a good start, took a lead but ultimately fell to a better, more talented and playoff bound team. They were sloppy with the puck, sloppy in their own zone and Alex Georgiev wasn’t at his best.
- Vinni Lettieri reminds me, somewhat, of Brandon Pirri. Great shot, loves to shoot and cane be a big part of a PP but is there enough with the rest of his game to be a regular NHLer. I think it’s too early to tell with Lettieri but the big thing with him will come next fall in training camp. He will be in contention for a spot, and probably some PP2 time, and it will be on him to take what he has learned this season, work in the summer and show he can be part of things moving forward.
- Brett Howden was noticeable in limited minutes tonight and I’d expect that his minutes will increase in the final few games.
