Tampa Bay trades JT Miller to Vancouver

dTampa Bay is trading former Ranger JT Miller to the Vancouver Canucks for goalie Marek Mazanec, a 2019 third-rounder and a first round pick in 2020 or 2021.

Miller has four-years left on a five-year deal he signed last year with Tampa.

His cap hit is $5.25 million.

Miller was traded by the Rangers to Tampa as part of the Ryan McDonagh trade that saw the Rangers get Libor Hajek, Brett Howden, Vlad Namestnikov, Tampa’s 2018 first round pick (Nils Lundkvist) and Tampa’s 2019 second round pick.

The Devils acquired PK Subban from Nashville for two draft picks, prospect Jeremy Davies and Steve Santini.

The Devils assumed Subban’s entire contract.
