Artemi Panarin to wear #10 for the Rangers

Artemi Panarin has decided to wear #10 with the Rangers.

Panarin was choosing between #10 and #27 and he will be the first Ranger to wear #10 since JT Miller traded to Tampa in 2017.

Panarin previously wore #72 while with Chicago and #9 while with Columbus. Filip Chytil currently wears #72 for the Rangers and #9 has been retired by the Rangers in honor of Adam Graves and Andy Bathgate.

  • 2019-20 – $13 million in signing bonus, $1 million base salary
  • 2020-21 – $12 million in signing bonus, $1 million base salary
  • 2021-22 – $12 million in signing bonus, $1 million base salary
  • 2022-23 – $11.5 million in signing bonus, $1 million base salary
  • 2023-24 – $10 million in signing bonus, $1 million base salary
  • 2024-25 – $9 million in signing bonus, $1 million base salary
  • 2025-26 – $7 million in signing bonus, $1 million base salary
