  • According to NHL Stats and Information, Zibanejad is the first Ranger who has registered a goal in 12 games over a 13-game span in franchise history. Also according to NHL Stats and Information, he is the second Ranger in franchise history who has posted two separate six-game goal streaks in one season (Darren Turcotte during the 1992-93 season).
  • Zibanejad registered his 40th goal of the season last night at Dallas; Zibanejad, who tallied his 40th goal of the season while skating in his 56th game in 2019-20, reached the 40-goal plateau in a season in fewer games than any other player in franchise history.
  • Zibanejad is the 20th different player who has recorded at least 40 goals in a season in franchise history, and it is the 24th time a Ranger has tallied at least 40 goals in a season.
  • According to NHL Stats and Information, Zibanejad, who tallied his 40th goal of the season while skating in his 56th game in 2019-20, has reached the 40-goal plateau in a season in fewer games than any other player in franchise history (Jean Ratelle previously reached the 40-goal plateau in fewer games than any other Ranger in franchise history – 57 games in 1971-72).
  •  Zibanejad is the first Ranger who has registered at least 40 goals in a season since Rick Nash in 2014-15 (42), and he is the first Rangers center who has tallied 40 or more goals in a season since Mark Messier in 1995-96 (47).
