Tocchet is also going to be interviewing with the Seattle Kraken. (Seravalli)

Tocchet was the head coach with Tampa Bay (53-69-26) from 2008-09 to 2009-10 and he spent the last four seasons as the head coach with Arizona (125-131-34).

Tocchet led Arizona to the second round of the playoffs last season. He won two Stanley Cups as an assistant coach with the Penguins in 2015-16 and 2016-17.

As a player Tocchet had 952 points and 2,972 PIM in 1,144 games and won a Stanley Cup, with Seattle GM Ron Francis, in 1992.

Adam Rotter: Tocchet doesn’t have the experience as a coach that Gerard Gallant has, but he has a ton from his time as a player. The belief for a while has been that Tocchet will be the first coach in Seattle history, but he is still one of the top coaching candidates out there and worth speaking with. He is someone that Chris Drury played against as Drury was starting his career and Tocchet was finishing his.
