The Rangers have announced that they have hired Andy Schneider as Director of North American Amateur Scouting and Garth Joy as Associate Director of Player Personnel and Director of Pro Scouting.
Schneider replaces Chris Morehouse as Director of North American Amateur Scouting after Morehouse left to join Mike Grier in San Jose.
Joy replaces Kevin Maxwell as Director of Pro Scouting after Maxwell left to join St. Louis.
Joy has been with Colorado as a scout, and Director of Player Personnel for a few years, since 1999-00. He has had the title of Sr. Pro Scout since 2016-17.
Schneider has been with the Devils since 2015-16 and had the title of Head of CHL scouting the past three years.
