1:03PM: Arthur Staple tweets that Dan Muse, who was also an assistant to Laviolette in Nashville for three seasons, is a potential assistant coach.
Muse is currently the coach of the US Under-18 team.

12:17PM: Elliotte Friedman said on 32 Thoughts that Phil Housley is “another name to possibly to keep an eye on” and “potentially in the mix” to join Peter Laviolette’s staff.
Housley was an assistant coach to Laviolette in Nashville for three seasons before he became the head coach of the Sabres for two seasons.
Housley was an assistant in Arizona from 2019-20 through 2021-22.
He is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame and played with Chris Drury on the 2002 USA Olympic team.
Michael Peca is reportedly going to be one of Laviolette’s assistants.
