- This was a nice win by the Rangers and another game where Igor Shesterkin was more than on his game. I think it’s possible that you can chalk up his rough first period against the Islanders to adjusting to playing in such a vastly different space and then once he settled in he was really good. Back at MSG, he was great all game and especially as Dallas was really pushing in the third.
- 5 game point streak and a really slick goal from Kaapo Kakko. I just continue to hope, even if it’s on the third line, that Kakko keeps his confidence high, chips in offensively and we try again next season with him in the top-six looking for a breakout.
