The Rangers have signed Will Cuylle to a two-year deal worth $3.9 million per season.

Cuylle was an RFA.

Adam Rotter: This is a more than fair deal for Cuylle and takes out whatever threat, real or not, that an offer sheet would have presented. Cuylle had a big role with the Rangers and showed no indication that he wanted to leave and so I never believed he would sign an offer sheet unless this dragged longer into the summer and there was a sharp divide in what each side was presenting.

Instead the Rangers sign one of their young, promising forwards to a deal that in two years they will probably be in a better position cap wise to extend him long-term if he continues to develop.
