Rangers struggle in 4-1 loss to Wild

10:10PM: David Quinn said on MSG:

  • On McQuaid, “he’s fine. Just talked to the trainers, probably could have gone back in but for precautionary reasons we decided not to put him back on.”
  • On the missed Skjei trip, “the way we played, I don’t think it made a difference.”
  • “I was looking for something different, just the way things were going for most of our lines. With our game in general, just thought I would try something different.”
  • McQuaid was injury related, “yea. He came out, upper body and probably could have come back but decided not.”
  • Was the McQuaid issue a scare, “for me it’s a scare because it’s a player and any time a guy gets hurt you are always scared for them to some degree but between periods I found out it was nothing serious and he was going to be fine and it was a relief.”
  • On Lias Andersson being called up, “Lias has been playing well in Hartford and competition never hurts.”
