The NHL Department of Player Safety has annouced that Chris Kreider has been fined “$5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for his elbow on Elias Pettersson last night.
Kreider was “assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for elbowing.”
The money from the fine goes to the NHLPA Emergency Assistance Fund.
