The Rangers were awarded a five minute PP near the end of the second period after Drake Pilon of Minnesota was called for checking to the head/neck of Lewis Zerter Gossage.

Kaapo Kakko will make his Traverse City debut for the Rangers on Monday in their game against Minnesota.

Kaako has missed the prior two games with an illness and while Kakko skated over the weekend and reportedly “looked pretty good” he was not 100%. (
