Stats:

Phil Di Giuseppe was called up from Hartford after the game.

Adam Rotter:

  • Well this was a much better game for the Rangers and they took advantage of a Ducks team at the end of a road trip and that played an OT game against the Islanders yesterday.
  • The Rangers had a great start and never really let up. They pressured, put pucks on net and got scoring from throughout the lineup. The PP didn’t get one but overall the Rangers were solid in all three zones.
  • Henrik Lundqvist wasn’t tested a ton but he was up for it when the Ducks had their chances. He looked calm, confident and rested and should start against the Flyers tomorrow.
