Stats:
Adam Rotter:
- It’s been clear through each of his starts, but Igor Shesterkin isn’t just for real, but heading into the Artemi Panarin and Adam Fox level of being better than the hype. I don’t think he will be able to carry the Rangers into the playoffs like Jordan Binnington did with St. Louis last year, but he’s giving the Rangers more than a chance to win every night.
- Chris Kreider continues to score and play arguably the best hockey of his career. I don’t think each goal he scores really changes anything about his status, but each goal does show his importance to this current Rangers team. I do think the Rangers want to keep him, but only up to a certain cap hit and term. We will know one way or the other soon enough.
