The Rangers have announced that Jamie Tardif will join the Hartford Wolf Pack as an assistant coach to Chris Knoblauch.

Tardif, 37, has spent the last four seasons as an assistant coach with the Soo Greyhounds of the OHL.

He played two career games in the NHL with Boston in 2012-13, played 487 career AHL games over 8 seasons, 4 seasons in the Gernman hockey league and started and finished his career in the ECHL.

The Rangers have also announced that Casey Torres has transitioned from an assistant with Hartford last season to a Player Development Assistant.
