He has won two Stanley Cups with Pittsburgh.
In his 823 game career over 14-years, Bonino has a career faceoff winning percentage of 49.9%. Prior to last season when he won 48.2% of his faceoffs, he had five straight seasons of over a 50% win percentage.
Adam Rotter: It’s more depth for the fourth line, but Bonino is a veteran and established NHLer. He’s likely going to be on the fourth line and be a big part of the Rangers PK. Again, it’s very little money and so if it doesn’t work out they can just waive him or sit him, but you’d think that he has a stronger chance of making the team than Pitlick, Nash or Belzile.
