The Rangers have signed defenseman Mac Hollowell to a one-year deal.
It’s a two-way contract that pays him $775,000 in the NHL and $160,000 in the AHL. (CapFriendly)
Hollowell, 24, is 5-9, 170 and is a right shot defenseman. He was not tendered a qualifying offer by the Leafs.

He played in six games for the Leafs last season and had 13 assists in 18 games with Toronto of the AHL.
His six games with Toronto last season came between 11/23 and 12/3.
Hollowell was picked 118th overall in 2018 by Toronto.

As an assistant captain during the 2018-19 campaign, he posted the most goals (24) and most points (77) by an OHL defenseman that season and was named to the OHL First All-Star Team.
