3:07PM: Peter Laviolette spoke after practice and said about Alexis Lafreniere (NYR):
- Is Lafreniere going to go back to the left side, “Laff is not going to play tomorrow and so he was getting with the extra players and trying to get reps in there. It wasn’t intentional if he played left the whole practice, it wasn’t intentional for him to play left. Actually slotted him in on the right, I don’t know exactly how it panned out in practice. But the people that I did want to take reps there are the people that are actually going to play tomorrow night in that game. He’s already played in three, I don’t think it’s necessary to play in five and so he’ll be one of the guys that sits out tomorrow and you will most likely see him back in New York. And so I’m still wide open to either side, I haven’t said that now he’s back on the left. At this point, there were four people on that line and the way it spotted out was I wanted go into lines that we maybe might see tomorrow.”
12:16PM: Dylan Garand was called to back up Jonathan Quick tomorrow against the Devils. (Brooks)
