The Hurricanes have signed Jack Roslovic to a one-year deal worth $2.8 million.

The Hurricanes said “Jack is a dynamic player who has been an offensive contributor for his entire career. Adding another right-handed playmaker capable of injecting speed and skill into the lineup will provide a boost to our forward group.”

He had 3 goals and 5 assists in 19 regular season games with the Rangers and 2 goals and 6 assists in 16 playoff games.

The Rangers acquired Roslovic for a 2026 fourth round pick.

Adam Rotter: Roslovic was what he was. He had some good offensive moments, he had some shaky moments and he had shifts/games where he just wasn’t much of a factor. He, depending on what was reported at different times, was maybe like the Rangers 6-7th option on the wing at the deadline behind Jake Guentzel, Max Pacioretty, Alex Barabanov, Tyler Toffoli, Jordan Eberle and possibly Frank Vatrano. I think they went to Roslovic in the final minutes before the deadline and ultimatley, on paper, he made them a better team than they were before the deadline. He wasn’t a difference maker and despite the spot he had in the lineup, he wasn’t brought in to be a difference maker. He’ll probably be a depth guy in Carolina and the Rangers will see him plenty this season.
