Stats:

Adam Rotter:
- You win four in a row and feel like maybe things are turning and then you lose three in a row and the focus goes back to the top of the lottery.
- There are still positives with Alexis Lafreniere hitting 20 goals and continuing to play with a confidence and assertiveness that the Rangers will need from him moving forward. I really didn’t think the net-front thing was going to work for him, it never made sense why someone as skilled was put in front of the net, but he’s been having success with it.
- It may be as simple as left shot/right shot but I don’t know why Conor Mackey gets called up rather than Vincent Iorio, or Scott Morrow, getting called up. Mackey shoots left like Urho Vaakanainen while Iorio and Morrow are right shots, but those two may have a future with the Rangers and Mackey doesn’t really.
- They see Winnipeg again on Sunday.
