Lias Andersson, Tony DeAngelo

DeAngelo and Andersson expected to be scratched against Edmonton

8:35PM: David Quinn explained the DeAngelo decision as (NYR):

“There are certain things that are just non-negotiable. He’s made a lot of progress and a lot of strides and we have all watched what he has done on the ice and he has made a lot of strides off the ice like all young players have to make. There are things that are non-negotiable and the other factor that comes into it is that we feel we have seven defensemen that can play and Freddy has been out for a while. I tell all of them that I am looking for reasons to take them out and he gave me a small reason to take him out. He’s made a lot of progress, had a really good year and he will be back soon.”
