  • There isn’t much to say other than Mika Zibanejad is turning into an even better player than the guy who was the Rangers best player last season. He is clicking with his linemates, producing in all situations  and looks poised to battle Artemi Panarin to be the Rangers rep at the All-Star game. Zibanejad deserved to go last year and if he keeps this up he, and maybe Panarin as well, will definitely be going this year.
  • Georgiev looked pretty solid in net and fought off some tough chances from the Sens.
  • The defense looked tighter tonight but it’s hard to know if it’s because of tonight’s opponent, the jitters from Opening Night passing or the new defense pairs. Probably a combination of all three but both Hajek and Fox looked a lot more comfortable.
  • Now the Rangers have to deal with annoying week-long break before their next game. The schedule is what it is and you need to deal with it, but it stinks that they play three games in the first 14 days of the season.
