The Rangers have announced that they have come to terms with 2019 4th round pick Hunter Skinner on an entry-level contract that will begin next season.
Skinner played 26 games in the ECHL this season, since the OHL has not returned to play, and had seven goals, ten assists and 19 PIM.
He was a member of Team USA’s Gold Medal team at the 2021 World Juniors and he will join the Wolf Pack for the rest of this season.
Skinner is 6-2, 182 lbs, shoots right and had six goals and 26 assists in 62 games for London of the OHL last season.
The Rangers Prospect Report from 11/18/19 said of Skinner: “He has had a strong start to the season, playing well in all situations for the team. He uses his great skating ability and exceptional shot to produce on both sides of the puck.” – London Knights Owner, President, and Head Coach (and former NHL player) Dale Hunter on Hunter Skinner
