The NHL has announced that Carolina coach Rod Brind’Amour, who finally signed his three-year extension today with the Hurricanes, has won the Jack Adams Award.

The voting released by the NHL showed that former Rangers coach David Quinn received a second place vote and tied with Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy for 11th.

The award is voted on by the NHL Broadcasters’ Association.
