Tinordi in Covid protocol, Nemeth out of Covid Protocol

1:30 PM: Gerard Gallant spoke after practice and said (NYR):

  • On Libor Hajek getting more minutes, “He played steady, no mistakes, a solid game, moves the puck well. Everything we thought we had in the guy, he didn’t get a chance to play earlier on, it was tough, but we were winning games, happy with the lineup, but now that he’s got in, he’s played really good, solid hockey. Nothing flashy, but solid, definitely moves the puck well and skates well. He’ll probably get another, bigger opportunity to play more minutes now, and hopefully, he keeps getting better because he’s played well for us.”

  • Is this what you saw from Hajek in camp, “to be honest with you, no. I didn’t know the player, at camp I was sort of watching and know the players that I knew were going to be on our team. To be honest with you I didn’t know a whole lot what to expect, but from what I’m seeing now we are pretty happy with him, for sure.”
  • How is Shesterkin, “Everything looks good, he seems to be moving fine, Benny is happy with today and yesterday and there is no complaining about any injury, so he seems to be fine.”

11:10 AM: Libor Hajek is paired with Adam Fox, K’Andre Miller, and Jacob Trouba remain together and Nils Lundkvist has joined Patrik Nemeth. (Stephenson)
