The NHL has announced that K’Andre Miller has been suspended three games due to his spitting incident on Sunday with Drew Doughty.
The league officially classifies the suspension as being for “unsportsmanlike conduct on Los Angeles’ Drew Doughty.”
Miller apologized for the incident and called it “completely accidental.”
From the NHL, “Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Miller will forfeit $15,000. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.”
