- A nice comeback in the third to tie it but instead they fall to Montreal and are situated at the 4th slot for lottery purposes, one point up on Calgary and three points behind St. Louis for fifth.
- With Jonathan Quick dressing as the back up tonight I would guess that he will get one of the starts this weekend. He certainly deserves one of the games in what could probably be not only his final start at MSG but his final start overall. After the weekend there are four games left and I would guess that Dylan Garand will get at least one of those games.
- With six games left I still imagine that Mike Sullivan is going to coach those games to win and ride his top players, but I would love to see more than 10 minutes for Adam Sykora and certainly Jaro Chmelar. I would prefer Chmelar instead of Jonny Brodzinski with Vincent Trocheck and Will Cuylle.
- They see Detroit on Saturday, Washington on Sunday.
