The NHLPA has released their annual Player Poll and the Rangers had the following entries:
- Worst Trash Talker: Brendan Lemieux ranked 5th with 3.5% of the vote
- Who would make the best GM when they retire: Former Ranger Derek Stepan finished 5th with 3.8% of the vote
- Who will be the best TV analyst when they retire: Former Ranger Keith Yandle was 2nd with 4.1% of the vote
- Funniest Player: Former Ranger Keith Yandle finished 1st with 12.1% of the vote, former Ranger Dan Girardi finished 5th with 2.5% of the vote.
- Best Dressed Player: Henrik Lundqvist finished 1st with 25.8% of the vote
- Best Hair: Henrik Lundqvist finished 2nd with 6.6% of the vote
