The Rangers have the 15th pick in the 2021 NHL Draft.
The Rangers had the lowest odds to get the #1 pick at 1%. They were slated to pick at #16, but moved up one spot because Arizona’s pick was forfeited.

The Draft will be held on July 23 and 24th.
Adam Rotter: This was expected, though it was interesting that they just moved Arizona out instead of keeping them in their spot and just moving past them at the draft like they did in the second round last year. The hope though is that this is the last time the Rangers are in the lottery for quite a while.
