3/20/22 | 8PM: Ottawa traded Nick Paul to Tampa Bay.

6:50 PM: Darren Dreger said on TSN that the Rangers, Oilers and Bruins may have “kicked tires” on Nick Paul and that the Jets are likely speaking with the same teams about Andrew Copp.

4:48 PM: Elliotte Friedman was on TNT this afternoon and said the following about the Rangers:

“I have a list of teams that I’m still waiting to see what they are going to be up to and the New York Rangers are #1 on that list. I think Chris Drury, they have a Hart Trophy-level goalie this year and the owner made changes last year because he wants to win this year. I think they look at it, they have some cap issues next year, I’m looking at the Rangers and still saying what are they going to do?”

“I think they are in on guys like Nick Paul, Andrew Copp, there is a lot of interest in Copp, they’ve looked around on Radulov, I still think we are going to see the Rangers do something.”

Adam Rotter: Paul from Ottawa and Copp from Winnipeg are two of the better, more versatile forwards left. They would help the Rangers, but also help any other team. Colorado seems like they are going to be major competitors on both of those guys and the cost may be a first round pick, especially on Copp.
