Larry Brooks writes in the NY Post that a buyout of Nemeth is “becoming more likely” by Tuesday’s deadline.

The Avalanche have announced that Alex Georgiev has signed a three-year deal that has a cap hit of $3.4 million.
The Rangers traded Georgiev to the Avs last week for two picks in the 2022 Draft and one in the 2023 draft.
Joe Pantoro of AM New York wrote last week that Igor Shesterkin will spend the offseason in the US rather than return to Russia.
Shesterkin announced at the NHL Award and that he and his wife were expecting their first child.
Minnesota’s Kirill Kaprizov was reportedly denied entry twice to return to the US after reports surfaced that he was being accused of buying a fake military ID in 2017. (The Athletic)
