Brian Leetch has left his hockey ops job with the Rangers

Leetch just finished his fourth season in the role.

Leetch and David Quinn are very good friends and have known each other since they were in high school.

Leetch is also close with former President John Davidson as Davidson was a Rangers broadcaster for Leetch’s entire career with the Rangers.

Leetch and current President and GM Chris Drury played together for Team USA at the 2002 Olympics and 2004 World Cup.

Leetch played for the Bruins in 2005-06 while Jeff Gorton was in the Bruins organization.

Brad Richards has also spent the past four seasons as a “Hockey Operations Advisor.”
