The Rangers have announced that they have signed forward Tyler Pitlick to a one-year deal.

Pitlick, 31, played in 61 games for St. Louis last season and had 7 goals and 9 assists, 103 hits and 29 blocked shots.

It’s one year at $787,500. (Seravalli)

Pitlick has played 386 career NHL games, has 55 goals, 50 assists and an average of 12:19 per game.

Adam Rotter: A bottom-six depth player at the league minimum is another low-risk move for the Rangers. He hasn’t been much of a penalty killer over the last few seasons, but he’s physical and will either compete for a spot on the fourth line or be a depth player.
